Otis Spunkmeyer is determined that college Fundraising Ideas don’t have to be boring. Believe it or not, you don’t have to be stuffy in your fundraising even though you are grown up now, and a college student. There are still many of fun ideas out there that will not only allow you to raise money for the group that you are in, but let you have fun doing it as well.
T-Shirts
What college student doesn’t love a tee-shirt? The only cost you will have is buying the shirts and having them printed up. Many tee-shirt companies will give you a discount if you let them know what the shirts are for. Have the school, sorority, or team name put on the shirts or even have cute little sayings about opposing teams, something polite of course, and then sell the tee-shirts at big games and events. You will be surprised how much fun the team will have and how much money you will collect in the long run.
Dance, Dance, Dance
Challenge the students in the college to an all-night dancing event. You will be surprised at how long students can dance. The person to still be dancing at sunrise gets a trophy and you charge admission to the dance and charge for the refreshments you sell.
Video Game Challenge
Now, everyone knows that video games are the wave of the future, and just because high school is over, doesn’t mean that college students don’t enjoy a good challenge. Set up a video game challenge in your dorm and charge people to enter. Choose a couple of games for them to compete in and the one with the highest score gets a price. This could be anything from a trophy to a new video game for the winner.
If you are looking for some great fundraising ideas, then these are a few of the best. After a while if you are into fundraising long enough, the Fundraising Ideas seem to become stale. Even if you don’t use these, at least they may get your creative juices flowing, and there’s no telling what you can come up with then.
